If coming to Australia from the USA you will need to apply for an electronic visa to be able to enter the country (ETA). Please visit www.eta.homeaffairs.gov.au for more information. The application is all online and easy to understand and costs AUD $20. Acceptance is usually instant. We would suggest applying around 4 weeks before departing just to be on the safe side.

Most flights into Australia will stop over in Sydney, so if you have time, stay in Sydney a while before making your way over to Adelaide. Flights from Sydney to Adelaide start at approx. AUD 200 one way

Things to do and see

Visit Cleland or Gorge Wildlife parks to cuddle a koala
Spend a day at Glenelg or Henley beach
Go to a cricket match at Adelaide Oval
Go wine tasting in Australia's best wine region - Barossa Valley (and drop in to say hi to Victoria's parents when you are there)

Too many restaurants and bars to mention, but walk down Peel Street in the city or Rundle St in the eastend and you won't be disappointed (*note Rundle STREET, not Rundle Mall)
